Javier Barbero es un entrenador vitoriano que actualmente entrena a los porteros del Getafe CF. Fue entrenador de porteros en el Deportivo Alavés (2003-2009, y 2014-2017) y en el CD Mirandés (2010-2014). También fue segundo técnico del Alavés B en 2003-2004. Descubrió a Unai Simón (actual portero del Athletic Club) cuando éste tenía 11 años.
